PUMBA celebrates the talent and knowledge with B-schools around the country every year with its annual college festival- Dhruv. With each passing year we get a chance to host the B Schools throughout India and witness some spectacular skills and flairs of students, and also get a chance to network with the best. To continue with this sharing and socializing, it gives us immense pleasure to announce that Dhruv’16 is back and scheduled over the 15th, 16th and 17th of January 2016.
With rising popularity of first novel from “Song of ice and fire “ series, this year the theme of Dhruv will be “Game of Thrones – Winter is Coming…”
The whole plot of the series stretches from south, where heat breeds plots, to the vast eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. An 800-ft wall of ice in the frozen north protects the war from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men…all play the ‘Game of Thrones.’
With this theme, it is our attempt to take all of you in the ancient time drama of war, politics and blood and experience the journey by riding on horses, dire wolves and dragons. The teams participating will have to choose between ‘ice and fire’, ‘dragon and dire wolf’, ‘north and east’,’ a queen khaleesi which has the first right to sit on the iron throne and a knights watch Jon Snow who eventually doesn’t know anything’.
Its not the battle of powers, but that of willpower to fight and win. We are searching for ‘The Tyrion’ who has the ability of coming out of the worst situations, ‘The Arya’ who is so determined of achieving her targets, ‘Lord Baelish’ who never loses his peace of mind and uses his brain to win instead of a fight. We are looking for all those knights and lords who will pull out the managers from characters of the series.
So, choose your houses, battle for your kingdom, train your horses and dragons and lets play the ultimate “Game of Thrones….”
